What’s the story?
For a long time, LG has been the name in OLED tellies. Not only does it sell its own range, but it supplies the screens for the likes of Philips and Panasonic too. This entry-level OLED is a 2024 model, with a new B5 replacement coming soon, and that means you can now get it at a massive discount from the original list price of £1700.
It runs on LG’s webOS interface, which is nice and customisable, with all the streaming apps you’ll need, though I don’t find it as dynamic as some other UIs. The remote in the box is the worst thing about the B4, as the gesture controls are fiddly and quickly get frustrating.
