BLUE OVAL DRIVERS TURNED OUT IN FORCE FOR THE SECOND ANNUAL F-100 REUNION HELD IN PIGEON FORGE, TENNESSEE. A total of 503 cool custom trucks passed through the gates to enjoy the event along with all the attractions of Tennessee’s legendary mountain resort. Held at the LeConte Center with air-conditioning inside and spacious display space outside, the event created a family reunion atmosphere where drivers and spectators in this closely knit community enjoyed greeting friends made at similar events over the years. Inspecting the collection of trucks on display and marveling at their ingenuity was a significant part of the fun. BACK IN 1962, JACKIE MOORE ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THIS ’58 APACHE PICKUP TO USE ON THE FAMILY FARM. It served its purpose well as transportation and farm hauler for many years, and after decades of service, it was finally retired.
