Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ share price slumped 5.5% on Friday despite reporting good annual earnings growth and solid revenue growth for the first quarter to May 27. A truck driver has been arrested and charged for drunk driving after he was found to be more than 20 times over the legal alcohol limit. An elderly Mpumalanga man, who was falsely accused of raping a child and had to spend more than 16 months in jail under harrowing circumstances, before the charge was withdrawn against him, is set to receive R1.5 million in damages from the police.
