Tribeca Festival curators have called on film-makers from around the globe to submit their work for consideration for next year’s festival.
The 24th edition will take place in New York City from June 4 to 15, 2025.
This year, the festival saw a record-breaking 13 000 submissions for more than 145 000 attendees.
The festival showcased some of the best in TV, games, audio storytelling, talks and films with several world premières, including In the Arena: Serena Williams, Brats, Sacramento and Presumed Innocent. Last year, local film-maker Tebogo Malope premiered Rise: The Siya Kolisi Story at the festival.
Building on the success of the 23rd festival, Tribeca has now opened the call for emerging film-makers and artists to premiere their projects and grow their careers.
