It is shocking and unimaginable that 33 people perished due to road accidents in less than 24 hours. In Zimbabwe accidents occur every 15 minutes. The system faces numerous issues, including roads with potholes, unmarked roads, traffic lights not working, poor or no road signage, unworthy road vehicles, unlicensed drivers and corruption among traffic police officers.
