February 6 to 9 is National Pregnancy Awareness, with an emphasis on how depression during pregnancy could harm the mother and baby. However, it is treatable.
In most cases, according to research, although half of expectant mothers in the country experienced depression during pregnancy and following childbirth, often-times, it was left undiagnosed and untreated.
