AMANDA MALIBA amanda.maliba@nl.co.za THE ACCLAIMED Johannesburg Philarmonic Orchestra made its anticipated live stage return last Thursday, presenting the JPO Special Spring Concerts, the second being held tomorrow.
Although running only on two nights, the concert features an array of celebrated musicians with popular conductor Daniel Boico (Israel/USA) for the first concert, along with award-winning Russian pianist, Georgy Tchaidze, and the likes of celebrated German conductor Justus Frantz and one of the world’s most in-demand violinists, South Korean soloist Ye-Eun Choi, among others, lined up for the second concert.
