Bringing a fresh perspective to the visuals of Star Wars was one of many aspects of the Disney+ series of anime shorts, Star Wars: Visions, that struck a chord with fans of the saga.
That creativity is set to be celebrated next spring in a new book from Dark Horse Comics, The Art of Star Wars: Visions, available in stores in spring, 2022, priced $49.99. The fully illustrated 200-plus page book, written by Zack Davisson, will explore the design process of the seven renowned Japanese animation studios responsible for bringing the stylistically diverse anthology series to the screen, and will feature concept, storyboards and designs from the artists at Kamikaze Douga, Studio Colorido, Geno Studio, Trigger, Kinema Citrus, Production I.G, and Science SARU.
