The Delcampe marketplace has reached 100 million collectables for sale for the first time, demonstrating the popularity of the website.
The Belgian website launched twenty years ago and sees more than 10,000 items sold each day, including philatelic material, coins, ephemera, books, comics, vinyl records, and photography. According to the Delcampe team, the most popular categories are stamps, coins and postcards. Founder Sebastien Delcampe, CEO (pictured), said: ‘As a result of the lockdown, many collectors have had the opportunity to take time to focus on their passion. As a result, we have seen an increase in sales as well as in the number of items put up for sale.’
