Aside from Edward VIII, who curtailed his brief reign by abdicating and left only four stamps for collectors to gather in, Edward VII’s nine-year occupation of the throne gave us a mere nineteen basic definitives and no commemoratives. Advanced collectors have managed to add to that number, and to the complexities of the reign, by delving into the minutiae of philately. Here we will concentrate on a single value and soon learn that it provides plenty of variety to make tracking down examples quite a challenge.
