Formerly a professional freestyle BMX rider with a penchant for big, gnarly, dirt jumps, the Cambridge-based Langers can now often be found shaping and maintaining the plethora of trails that comprise the Te Miro Mountain Bike Park.
As far as parks go, Te Miro is arguably one of the most underrated in New Zealand. Situated a roughly 20 minutes from Cambridge, Matamata and Morrinsville (and 30 from Hamilton), the park boasts something for everyone – technical, root-infested native bush, fast and flowy pine trails, picturesque beginner’s loops around the central lake, burly downhills and a soon-to-be-refurbished Grade 5 jump trail.
