Crème Brûlée Hot Chocolate MAKES ABOUT 8 SERVINGS 2 cups whole milk 2½ cups heavy whipping cream, divided ¼ cup firmly packed dark brown sugar 2 tablespoons dulce de leche 1 cup white chocolate morsels ¼ teaspoon cinnamon sugar ¼ cup granulated sugar 3 teaspoons water, divided 1. In a medium saucepan, heat milk, 2 cups cream, brown sugar, and dulce de leche over medium heat, whisking frequently, just until bubbles form around edges of pan (do not boil). Remove from heat. 2. HEARTH & HOME Having worked with this Union Springs, Alabama, family for decades, designer Cindy Barganier knew just how to incorporate the owners’ ideal Christmas aesthetic.
