A beloved, idyllic retreat since it was established in the 1950s, Callaway Resort & Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia, offers a dazzling showcase of summer flora and foliage. Founded by Cason J. Callaway and Virginia Hand Callaway, and originally named Ida Cason Gardens in honor of Cason’s mother, the property was created in order to develop and strengthen the bonds between man and the natural world, and remains dedicated to horticultural education as well as recreational pursuits.
