One Life to Live’s PATRICIA ELLIOTT (July 21, 1938-November 20, 2015)
Best known to daytime audiences for her portrayal of former brothel madam, Renee Divine Buchanan, the seventh, 11th and last of Asa Buchanan’s 14 wives, Patricia Elliott has died from cancer. the actress, who had an extensive career on Broadway, winning a Tony Award for her role in A Little Night Music, played Renee on OLTL from 1988-2011. She’s also appeared on numerous TV series including Kate & Allie, Spenser: For Hire, St Elsewhere and Hill Street Blues. Addressing her passing, her former OLTL costar Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) who now plays Days’ Eve said, “so saddened to hear the passing of the glorious Patricia Elliott. Such an earth angel, an amazing person.”
