One Life to Live’s PATRICIA ELLIOTT (July 21, 1938-November 20, 2015) Best known to daytime audiences for her portrayal of former brothel madam, Renee Divine Buchanan, the seventh, 11th and last of Asa Buchanan’s 14 wives, Patricia Elliott has died from cancer. the actress, who had an extensive career on Broadway, winning a Tony Award for her role in A Little Night Music, played Renee on OLTL from 1988-2011. She’s also appeared on numerous TV series including Kate & Allie, Spenser: For Hire, St Elsewhere and Hill Street Blues. Addressing her passing, her former OLTL costar Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) who now plays Days’ Eve said, “so saddened to hear the passing of the glorious Patricia Elliott. Revenge is uppermost in Ivy’s mind as she recovers from her electric shock during a heated argument with Steffy. Declaring that Steffy is dangerous, Ivy shocks everyone by having a restraining order taken out against her enemy. However, Steffy isn’t willing to take the legal attack lying down and confronts Ivy with disastrous consequences. Accusing Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) of acting irrationally, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) sincerely and repeatedly apologises for being complicit in her accident and begs her to put the acrimony behind them.
