Katie Dixon probably wouldn’t mind being called a shady lady. After all, her business, Little Peg, is all about handmade and bespoke lampshades.
“It was born out of frustration trying to find the perfect shade for my own newly redecorated lounge,” she says. “[Shades] are often very chintzy, plain or just outdated and [I] thought I would have a go at making one myself. I must have read nearly every book!”
After friends and family began to clamor for her homemade shades, Katie decided to sell them – and named the business after her daughter, Peggy.
