STAR LETTER CHRISTMAS QUEENS In November my daughter Laura turned up to see me with Claire, my daughterin-law, and presented me with a pattern to knit Queen Elizabeth II and said she would like hers in lilac, please. I looked at Claire and asked if she would like one too – she didn't reply but just gave me a ‘yes please’ look. I asked what colour she would like and she replied that I could choose but she did like the yellow. My nephew and his wife opened their home to a Ukrainian family, including two children aged 5 and 7. The children are in a local school where they learn Welsh and the families are learning and sharing each others traditions.
