The story of Wild Ride on Lambretta began when Filippo Genito, a sculptor originally from Benevento, Italy, and his partner Francesca Montanari, an adventurous soul who would turn her hand to anything to make a living, decided to undertake the trip of a lifetime on a vintage Lambretta. Filippo was no stranger to long journeys, albeit by motorcycle, but it was to be Francesca’s first experience of long-distance travel on two wheels. Their plan was to set a record by riding their Lambretta across 50 countries, without assistance, in one year.
