PHILADELPHIA, PA, October 2025 – Philadelphia City Council Majority Leader Katherine Gilmore Richardson (At-Large), Council President Kenyatta Johnson (2nd District), and other partners convened nearly 100 small, local, and underrepresented business leaders for “Positioning Your Small Business for Big Wins in 2026.” Held as part of Philadelphia’s 41st annual Micro Enterprise Development (MED) Week, the event focused on connecting businesses with information, resources, and opportunities to help them prepare for increased economic activity ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and other major 250th events.
