WHAT SHALL we call this month’s grass-roots club? Old Priorian RFC. Often shortened to OPRFC. Or sometimes on special occasions, just OPs. And where is home for them? Their home ground is St Benedict’s Playing Fields in Perivale, West London, a short walk from the Ealing Trailfinders Sports Ground. When and how did the club start? 1 Space invaders To develop running lines into space, play small-sided games that promote line breaks and overloads. Play two-touch rugby in which for the second touch the attacker must pass the ball or recycle it. The overload means there are more players on one team than the other.
