Watch out for Demons, Angels, Saints and Sinners at Dartfordians, an upwardly mobile Two South-East club. Those are the monikers of their second, third, fourth and fifth teams, but despite their wide-ranging names every player from the first team downwards is treated just the same. Chairman Jarrod Lawrence explained: “We welcome all newcomers and no one is considered better than anyone else. We don’t pay players and have bucked the trend in clubs who are losing senior ones.”
