I’ll come clean here. I am a Morinista, albeit one who hasn’t actually had his Morini running since 1992. This, I am assured, is the state of play with many Morini owners, that is, having a Morini in a state of undress, with plans to ‘return it to the road soon’. I adore the little V-twin. As well as looking cool as heck, the whole design is a model of simplicity. I cannot think of an engine that is as easy to work on, on which the engineering is so well thought out, an engine that is as light as it is delightful, in a frame that sums up Italian frame designing skill.
