Making Quilting Manageable
For over 50 years, Marti Michell has paved the way for quilters as a teacher, quilter, author, publisher, manufacturer, designer, consultant, judge, and avid quilt collector. She paved the way for the rotary cutter to change the way we make quilts, pioneered quilting techniques, and taught us all “the Marti way.” Marti is the recipient of three prestigious quilt industry lifetime achievement awards, including recently being inducted into the Quilters Hall of Fame. Marti and her husband, Richard, live in Atlanta, Georgia, but she was born and raised in Iowa. Join us as we learn more about how Marti plans quilting her quilts in sections.
