Jen Daly: Equal Opportunity Quilter
Designer Jen Daly has been sewing her “whole life” and has been quilting since 2003, in which time she’s become increasingly prolific. Her website, jendalyquilts.com, is home to her blog, free patterns, and annual Christmas quilt-along, along with links to her Etsy shop and Moda Bake Shop tutorials. She is at work on her first book to be published by C&T Publishing.
While Jen’s designs are most often traditionally inspired, she considers herself “an equal opportunity quilter,” believing that quilters should make what they love, no matter the style. As far as Jen is concerned, there are no rules when it comes to inspiration.
Q: Who taught you to sew and how old were you? What sorts of projects did you start out doing?
