It’s difficult to get away from them online: as soon as the show-offy Christmas pics are done, it’s on with the New Year declarations: New year, new energy. Fresh start. Clean slate. Discipline. Glow-up. Reset.
I don’t want to look at them, but each year I find it hard to look away. However, the longer I look, the smaller I feel. Everyone seems to be in motion — running, manifesting, meditating, reinventing. I, on the other hand, am wondering if I’ve forgotten how to begin.
