Content-Aware Fill has long been one of Photoshop’s best tools for removing objects in photos. It’s one of those magic commands that can work wonders on the right image. However, like all automated tools it’s not completely infallible, and often it will struggle to complete the job. We find it usually gets us three-quarters of the way, but then we usually need to finish off and tidy up with the Clone tool.
