It works by detecting changes in contrast and color, which means it can seek out the edges of objects and snap on to them as we paint. As well as appearing in the main toolbar, it can be found within the excellent Select And Mask command. The latest version of the raw file processor included with Photoshop is so powerful that most photos can be processed entirely in the raw processor, with no need for further editing in Photoshop. By using our supplied Photoshop Action, you can transform a portrait into a series of interlinking triangular shapes for a wonderful lo-fi treatment. We’ve supplied a starting portrait, but why not use your own? Any close-up portrait will work. Actions are one of the hidden jewels in Photoshop. You can use them to record and then play back any task you like. Our Action uses the Average filter to even out a part of the portrait by averaging all the tones within.
