1¼ cups flour 1 cup sugar ¾ cup cocoa powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder ½ tsp kosher salt 8 tbs unsalted butter, melted and cooled 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1 cup strong black coffee, at room temperature 1 cup buttermilk or plain yoghurt 1 tsp vanilla extract Preheat the oven to 180ºC In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add the melted butter, eggs, coffee, buttermilk and vanilla.
Whisk well. Divide the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans. Bake until the cakes are done, about 30 minutes.
