Crash patient discharged
CHARLENE SOMDUTH DAFFANEE Moodley, who lost four family members including her 9-year-old daughter in a car crash in KwaDukuza last month, has been discharged from hospital.
Moodley, 33, unemployed, was a passenger in a BMW driven by her husband, Seeran Moodley, 35, an IT specialist.
Their children, Adelle, 9, a Grade 1 pupil at Stanger Manor Primary, and Zakey, 18 months, were also in the car.
They were on their way to Glenhills to drop off Moodley’s parents, Daniel Chetty, 58, a retired mechanic, and Shakila, 56, a housewife, after they had spent the day together.
Their vehicle collided with a Mercedes-Benz on the R74 near KwaDukuza. The Mercedes driver survived with injuries.
