The stories about people who still do not have piped water must be highlighted to the rest of the world. Farm attack: family want justice CHARLENE SOMDUTH POLICE are yet to make an arrest in the farm attack that claimed the life of Zakiyya Ismail. Ismail, 26, her husband, Ayoob Ismail, 33, a cattle farmer, and their children, Hajra, 8, and Hamza, 2, were attacked on their farm in Weenen, near Estcourt, on July 4. Ismail was pregnant. Most of the catches have been fish caught while scratching in the back gullies and areas protected from the massive waves. The north coast has not reported much in the line of fish caught. Nothing has changed at municipalities THE auditor-general was once again the bearer of disappointing news. He made pronouncements relating to the state of our municipalities. Municipalities are at the forefront of service delivery to the people. Services can only be rendered effectively if the allocated budgets are used to improve the quality of the lives of the citizens. The efficient use of financial resources must be devoid of corruption, fraud, mismanagement, and fruitless and wasteful expenditure. However, from the dawn of democracy 26 years ago, a similar scenario has prevailed with the majority of the municipalities receiving poor audits by the auditor-general. KSA applies for karate to resume ESHLIN VEDAN KARATE South Africa (KSA) National “All Styles” Karate Federation president Sonny Pillay remains positive in light of the requirements for resumption of contact sports being eased under level 3 of the lockdown.
