I just sat down and read Ms. Wagstaff’s article [June 2015] about her recent eye surgery. It was like déjà vu all over again.
In the last four years, I went through what she did and would like to share my slightly different path, but with the same excellent results. First, I was 56 at the time and had each eye progressing at different rates. Due to insurance requirements, I had to wait until I could not pass certain tests to have the IOL surgery done in each eye, one year apart. That meant a lot of lens changes in my eyeglass prescription till both were done. Kind of a hassle, but worth the outcome.
