Rubbing my eyes and yawning, I woke up in a daze.
I’d fallen asleep on the sofa, again!
I sleepily made my way upstairs to the bathroom, and wiped my foundation off my face before climbing into bed.
Like many people, I was always careful to take my base cosmetics off to avoid spots.
But my waterproof mascara was stubborn to remove, so I left the remnants on my lashes.
Once a week, I removed my mascara and used a face mask.
It was 2013, and I was working as a housekeeper.
I was also busy looking after my two boys, Bynum, 23, and Austin, eight.
For 45 years, my skin looked great and I had no problems.
Except one morning, my eyes were weepy and irritable.
