‘Whenever Frankie had a bad day, we’d dress up’ At the park, my toddler Frankie climbed everything.
‘Careful, Spidey,’ I laughed.
Frankie, then 18 months, was Spider-Man obsessed.
Watched the cartoons, had his action figure.
But then he began walking with a limp.
Doctors were baffled, but it disappeared after several weeks. Then, last August, Frankie, 3, collapsed at home.
We’d pick him up, and he’d just fall to the floor in pain.
He had an eye infection, too.
‘Something’s wrong,’ I told my hubby Bryn, 30.
Over the next months, Bryn looked after our other two - Kyiah, 9, and Bobby, 9 months - while I was back and forth from Warrington Hospital with Frankie.
To cheer him up, we arranged a visit from his hero! Bryn dressed up…
