Creeping out of the bedroom on my tip toes, I made sure to close the door as quietly as possible behind me.
My little one, Mia, four months, was keeping me awake all night, so her day time naps were a chance to get on with some housework and have some ‘me’ time.
Alongside having a newborn, my husband Craig, 29, and I had sons, Josh, nine, Thomas, six, and step-daughter Megan, 10, who lives with us.
Luckily, my mum Kath lived just around the corner so was on hand to help out.
We’d always had a close relationship, but with me now a full-time mum, we spent almost all our time together.
I’d usually try and get tea on the table and get the kids to do their homework…
