It all started in 2007...
You see, our daughter, Olivia, then 10, has cerebral palsy, and it was hard to find fun stuff for the whole family to do together.
It had to entertain our other children, Guy, 14, James, 7, Grace, 2, and be accessible for Olivia.
‘It’d be easier to build something ourselves,’ my husband, Nick, 45, sighed.
So we decided that’s exactly what we’d do!
Knowing we were onto something, we sold our house, left our jobs and bought five acres of land in Chipping Norton.
Finally, after five years slogging away, in May 2013, Fairytale Farm opened to the public.
We had animals, including pigs and rheas (like an ostrich!), wheelchair-friendly swings, and zones like Mermaid Garden and Weather Wonderland.
