GoPro has announced its new flagship camera, the Hero13 Black, and while there are certainly improvements under the hood, the big focus this year is what you’re attaching up front, with a range of new Lens Mods launching alongside the camera. (There’s also a new budget Hero camera, of which more later.)
The new lenses, in what GoPro has dubbed the HB-Series, include an ultra-wide that stretches the field of view to 177°, and a Macro lens with a minimum focus distance of 4.22 inches / 0.11m, and focus-peaking compatibility for pin-sharp footage. There’s also a neutral density (ND) filter set containing four different strengths of filter.
