You will need Your basic tool kit plus: PCA: Pergamano: Plus: Trace Layer 1: Secure your plain parchment paper to the pattern and with your white pencil, trace all elements on the pattern. Layer 2: Secure your Fantasy Parchment Paper with the pattern shiny side up and use your white pencil to trace the border and two bottom corner elements. Emboss With your Small and Extra Small Ball tools, emboss the outlines, flowers and elements in the pattern. Remove any visible pencil lines with an eraser. Perforate Use your 2-Needle and Semi-Circle perforating tools to perforate as shown on the pattern. Cut Cut all perforations with your scissors as shown on the pattern. You will need Your basic tool kit plus: PCA Grid work Secure the parchment to the grid and using an appropriate size ball tool, emboss a square of 83 dots. Perforate Either simply flip the grid over with the parchment still in place or remove and re-align, whichever is your preference. Perforate the slots for the ribbon as indicated on the pattern. Starting two from the left-hand side, perforate 14 holes. Allow a space of four and perforate a further 14, allow a space of four again and perforate a further 14. Leave a space of one row and perforate again as above. For subsequent slots, perforate two sets 14 rows below the first and then one set 14 rows below…

Using diagram 1 as your template, mark and cut the curve at one end of the white card. Score and fold the card in half, to create a 15cm square card blank. Cut two pieces of lilac card 14cm square. You will need Your basic tool kit plus: Trace Trace the entire design. Follow the following steps for each flower/section. Greenery Paint all of the leaves and stems in shades of green. Use Leaf Green Tinta ink applying a darker shade, to the leaves and stems. Paint a second layer with dark green acrylic paint. Snowdrops White emboss the snowdrops, then colour with a little bit of green ink. Daffodils Trace the daffodils in sepia ink, then colour with yellow felt tip. Paint the centre with red and yellow acrylic paints. Colour the petals in golden yellow felt tip and a slightly darker shade for the trumpet. The Academy can become quite lively at times with our monthly newsletters, gallery designs and ongoing challenges.
