Land Rover was celebrating its 50-year association with Eastnor Castle, a venue in Herefordshire, England. Yes, that Herefordshire, but no connection with you-know-who. For Land Rover, Eastnor provides an impressive demonstration and test venue—miles of muddy tracks through claustrophobic woods, pools, and mud-holed routes with which to leave visitors impressed, even awe-stricken, at the capability of “The best 4x4 by far.” To celebrate the occasion, Land Rover laid on an assembly of heritage hardware, the bang up-to-date 2012 lineup of current products, as well as Land Rover’s trademark goodwill and welcome.
