The rules were both team A & B must be at a hazard together before they could start and had to be able to recover themselves. If one broke they both had to return to the pits. If one was unfixable they could share the other truck.
Each team had to have a name and some were apt: Tail End, Yeah Nah Bro, Where Thrz a Will Thrz a Way, Screw Loose Racing, Windy Fires, Dirt Dogers, Gunnawyn, Odd & Ends, CC’s, Du-Foss and on it goes.
All-up 17 teams were to start the day and although 17 finished there was some truck sharing, not to mention frayed nerves.
