Free-spirited single mum Sandrine Jourdan would often go on spiritual retreats or visit friends to clear her head.
So when her three children, who were living with their father in WA, stopped hearing from her in July 2012, they were worried, but not panicked.
“We were very anxious after a week, but we didn’t know what to make of the situation,” Sandrine’s youngest daughter, Nakita Bulla, tells New Idea.
“But when she missed my sister’s birthday in September, we knew something terrible had happened. She never missed our birthdays.”
Sandrine, 37, was last seen outside a property in Caboolture, QLD, on July 13, 2012.
