Real life Tyler Murphy and his younger brothers Ashley, Tommy and Dallas were barely out of nappies when they each fell in love with the rodeo for the first time.
Their dad, Tom, is a ringer, and the boys grew up watching him riding bucking bulls in the paddocks near their home in Cloncurry, QLD, dreaming of one day becoming cowboys themselves.
“They were about two when they learned to ride,” Tom, 38, tells New Idea, “and first mounted spritely calves that were trying to buck them off from the age of five.”
