When Charles III fancies a weekend away in one of his homes, the new monarch is spoilt for choice.
When he took the crown, the King also took on a remarkable range of royal residences, including seven palaces, 10 castles, 12 homes, 56 cottages and 14 ancient ruins in his real estate portfolio.
Some are in London, others are on the city’s outskirts, but he also has homes in the English countryside, Scottish Highlands and even in Eastern Europe. Here are 10 of the favourite royal residences.
THE CASTLE OF MEY
