If you love food then you may well never leave Cyprus. Cheese, more cheese (especially the world famous Cypriot halloumi), great Greek style yoghurt, salads and vegetables, lamb by the rack, ahh – the local food is hearty, tasty, and plentiful.
The local beer is Keo, which any Cypriot will tell you is the best in the world, although the Belgians may quibble at the statement. Local wines are rich, and great, and Cyprus
coffee is a mix between espresso and Greek coffee – potent and tasty.
There are small tavernas all over the island, and prices are very reasonable; noticeably less, in fact, than in mainland Europe.…
