Louise Lockhart, founder of The Printed Peanut and freelance illustrator, says she’s always known that drawing is fundamental to her being. “I think you’re either compelled to draw or not – people like me do it to process their place in the world.” The Printed Peanut began in 2012 when Louise, from art-renowned Hebden Bridge, was working in a stationery store in Vancouver, Canada.
