3D-Printed Rocket in First Test
Terran-1 is a two-stage small-lift launch vehicle developed by Relativity Space. It is the first rocket to be entirely 3D printed, and is designed to be a costeffective and efficient way to launch satellites into orbit.
The first stage of Terran-1 is powered by two RL10 engines, which are each capable of producing 100,000 pounds of thrust. The second stage is powered by a single RL10 engine, and the rocket’s payload fairing can accommodate up to 1,250 kilograms of cargo.
