The Historic Vehicles Trust
In addition, being the owners of Jurassic, the Historic Vehicles Trust has several other items of considerable interest on site (tables 2 and 3). Its second locomotive, a 1947 vintage straight framed 20 HP 'Simplex' diesel, was No. 8 in the stock list. Originally built for work in relation to coastal defences, this locomotive, maker's number 9264, was sold to Mablethorpe Brick and Tile Works and re-sold in 1970 to Skegness Brick and Tile Company where it worked until 1976.
