During a hugely hectic life, Pat Moss-Carlsson grew to become a worldwide legend in the hard-fought field of international rallying, showing her prowess behind the wheel of MGs, Triumphs, Austin-Healeys and… yes, the Mini. Tough and resilient both mentally and physically, Pat created the kind of reputation on the world’s rally circuits that few could match.
Younger sister of motor racing legend, Sir Stirling (who also started his career in rally, driving for the Rootes Group), Pat was born on December 27, 1934 in Thames Ditton, Surrey, the daughter of wealthy parents, Aileen and Alfred Moss.
