4th December 2025 has been earmarked for the now infamous Arms Deal trial to resume, where French arms manufacturer, Thales, and former South African president, Jacob Zuma, stand accused of several charges, including corruption, bribery, and racketeering. Thint is a SA subsidiary of Thales.
This case has been dragging on for many years, with Zuma being the main culprit engaging in several delaying tactics, the chief of which is his attempt to get Advocate Billy Downer recused from the State’s prosecuting team.
