In this modern farmhouse renovation, the interior was completely transformed and customised, perfectly fitting the client’s brief of a farmhouse chic design, equipped with modern appliances and capable of providing ample entertainment space. During the renovation, the builder removed and replaced most of the walls, making the entire interior house walls from 40mm solid timber, milled from yellow box trees growing on the farm property in the early 20th century. Additionally, recovered timber was reincorporated throughout the project for the benchtops and shelves adding a natural charm. The kitchen went through the design process, and multiple 3D renders before the client was 100 percent on what they were getting in their finished product. The creation of this gorgeous kitchen, living space, laundry and en suite was a team effort, involving collaboration between Kate Hickling from Interiors by Kate, Studio Seven, Studio Lime Co., Vansellar Kitchens, and Infinity Coatings to create a wonderful result that truly speaks for itself.
