WHERE EVEN IS SAN MARINO?
San Marino is a tiny country – around 4,000 times smaller than the UK – located in the north east of Italy, around 30 minutes from the Italian coast! It has a population of just 35,436, which is less than the capacity of ten current Premier League stadiums, while the official language there is Italian!
WHERE DO THEY PLAY HOME GAMES?
They play home matches at the 6,664-capacity San Marino Stadium, which also has a running track around the outside for athletics. To put its size into perspective, there are only nine EFL grounds that are smaller. Their biggest defeat there came against Germany back in 2013, when they lost 13-0!
