THE LATEST iPHONE Notes app isn’t just better–looking, thanks to its Liquid Glass makeover. It gets a much more helpful toolbar, an Apple Watch app, audio recording, and transcription, and support for importing and exporting Markdown files, which are commonly used by Mac and iPad/iPhone writing apps.
The improved toolbar makes Notes’ many features much easier and faster to find; it changes based on what you’re doing, so if you’re adding text, it shows tools for adding images, tables, and other features; if you highlight a paragraph, it shows formatting tools, and so on. And Notes is also context aware for things like math equations and graphs, enabling you to solve sums and create graphs instantly.
